A homemade menu, inspired by our gardens
Everything on The Wilde Story menu is homemade. We produce and source the best ingredients we can, always choosing quality over price – the delicious meat is locally sourced, we grow most of our salads, our eggs are free-range and collected on our doorstep.

Choose between our own Tamworth sausages or crispy bacon with the option of a free-range egg, tucked inside a light yet rich brioche roll. Always on the menu and always delicious.

SCOTCH EGGS & SAUSAGE ROLLS £6
On our daily counter since day one, generous and incredibly tasty, they are firm favourites and sell out quickly. Both are freshly made every day using our own pork and come with onion marmalade.

BRITISH SWEET TREATS AND SWEDISH DELIGHTS £4
A combination of English favourites such as millionaire shortbreads to Swedish delights such as Charlotte’s hugely popular cinnamon buns. Often pre-ordered and sell out quickly, they arrive piping hot on the counter and fill the cafe with their aroma.

HOMEMADE CAKES £4
Every cake we sell at The Wilde Story is homemade by Charlotte. Baked at the crack of dawn before the cafe opens at 10 am, her patisserie skills wow customers daily with an ever-changing selection of treats – often decorated with wildflowers from the garden.

Please note: Our small kitchen and team create delicious, local food with food metres, not miles, which guides our menu daily. We do have a children’s dish on the lunch menu, and we encourage everyone, including little ones, to enjoy our ‘real’ homegrown food. No bookings are needed for lunch on Saturday’s, as there’s usually space. However, please book for Pizza Night on Fridays and Sunday Roast Lunch on 07724885353.

Our pizzas are all able to be made on gluten free pizza bases for an additional cost.
Please note our gluten free pizzas are prepared and cooked in the same facility and oven as our regular pizzas.
We cannot guarantee that our menu items are free of gluten as there is always a possibility of cross contamination.

Sunday lunch, dishing up the most delicious roast pork
Come and join and enjoy a Sunday roast made with our own delicious, outdoor, rare breed, highest welfare pork. Each meal comes with crackling, roast potatoes and for the vegetarians, a delicious option is also available.

Senior Citizens lunch on Thursdays & Fridays at The Wilde Story - only available in the summer
During the summer months, we’re pleased to offer a wonderful, wholesome lunch on Thursdays and Fridays with a free coffee for every senior citizen’s lunch ordered.
Our homecooked menu includes Charlotte’s classic scotch eggs and sausage rolls as well as our delicious buffalo burger with Ogleshield cheese. No booking required, please do just turn up.

We’re very mindful of our carbon footprint and the importance of recycling. Wherever we can, we try to minimise our impact on the environment. We take recycling very seriously and take great care to ensure that as much waste is recycled as possible. We’re proud to be completely off grid, with everything at The Wilde Story powered by the sun, and use LED lights wherever possible. We call it green energy.
